Spring Gardening

I love planting.  Am really building soil this year upon learning from David Yarrow, www.dyarrow.org, and 2 books I've had for years but barely used till now - Lasagna Gardening and Square Foot Gardening.  Thanks to all 3, I am layering compost to make soil, using sea minerals for a soil nutrient and soaking my seeds before planting.  Gardening fever weather is here!

Wisdom Keepers Website

This is a new day on the Flint Hills Wisdom Keepers Gathering website, www.fhwisdomkeepers.org .  Great updates now on the Mission Statement, Featured Activities, About Us, and a new WK Podcast interview on what the Gathering is about.  And of course the 2012 Elders are so good to read about and to look forward spending time with.  Twitter and a Blog are also on there for those wanting to check in.

Spring Composting

Had a great spring day collecting compost, mixing it with sea minerals and planting strawberries.
